Warranty Validation

If you are verifying warranty for more than one drive, use the multiple drive form. Replacement Options for your in-warranty return are Advanced Replacement or Standard Replacement Advance Replacement Option We ship the replacement product to you first before receiving your defective product. You will have 25 days to send us your defective product. A credit card is required to secure the advance replacement. There is a charge of $9.95 per drive for this option. Advanced replacement option is only available in United States and Canada. Credit card payment of $9.95 plus tax (non-refundable) Approved packaging is provided for your return shipment to Seagate Premium UPS shipping Pre-paid return shipping label provided for your return shipment to Seagate Confirmation Email of your returned shipment to Seagate If not returned within 25 days from request, Seagate will charge your credit card for the amount of the drive you are responsible to return to Seagate Seagate will not accept your original return after 30 days from the date of your order creation Standard Replacement Option We will ship you the replacement product after we have received your defective product. You have 30 days from the date the RMA is created to send us your defective product Customer supplies packaging Customer pays shipping to Seagate Seagate pays the return shipping Average turn around time is 14 days (from the day you ship the return drive to Seagate) If you are a customer (such as OEM, Distributor, etc.) that buys products directly from Seagate, please use direct.seagate.com to return drives to Seagate.
