If you are verifying warranty for more than one drive, use the multiple drive form. Replacement Options for your in-warranty return are Ground Advanced Replacement, Premium Advanced Replacement or Standard Replacement Ground Advanced Replacement Option The Ground Advanced Replacement Option (Ground ARO), which is only available in the United States and Canada, is a service option that is designed to minimize downtime when seeking service under warranty. We will send you a replacement product via ground delivery service upon inventory availability. Please use the packaging accompanying the replacement product to return your original product to Seagate at the address indicated in your order confirmation. There is no fee for Ground ARO. However, we require a credit/debit card to place a $1 USD temporary authorization as part of the product return process. We accept Visa or MasterCard for the Ground ARO service authorization. We will automatically charge the Asset Recovery Fee plus applicable tax to your credit/debit card if we do not receive your original product within 25 days of order creation in accordance with the Seagate Return Policy and Seagate E-Commerce & RMA Terms. The Asset Recovery Fee amount is assessed in subsequent steps during order creation if you select this service for your order. Premium Advanced Replacement Option The Premium Advanced Replacement Option (Premium ARO), which is only available in the United States and Canada, is a premium service option that is designed to minimize downtime and provide packaging to ship your product when seeking service under warranty. We will send you an advance replacement product via 2-day delivery service upon inventory availability. This includes a prepaid return shipping label to return the original product to Seagate. Please use the packaging accompanying the replacement product to return your original product to Seagate. The service fee for this premium service option is $9.95 USD plus applicable taxes. We accept Visa or MasterCard for payment of the Premium ARO service fee. We will automatically charge the Asset Recovery Fee plus applicable tax to your credit/debit card if we do not receive your original product within 25 days of order creation in accordance with the Seagate Return Policy and Seagate E-Commerce & RMA Terms. The Asset Recovery Fee amount is assessed in subsequent steps during order creation if you select this service for your order. Standard Replacement Option We will ship you the replacement product after we have received your defective product. You have 30 days from the date the RMA is created to send us your defective product Customer supplies packaging Customer pays shipping to Seagate Seagate pays the return shipping Average turn around time is 14 days (from the day you ship the return drive to Seagate) If you are a customer (such as OEM, Distributor, etc.) that buys products directly from Seagate, please use direct.seagate.com to return drives to Seagate.
