How to program your FreeAgent Remote Control
The FreeAgent Theater remote control IR button map can be found in Document ID: 214831.
To update your remote with the latest button map:

1. Open the Logitech software on your desktop.
2. Login to the Harmony remote database.
3. Select Devices > Add Device.
4. In the Select Device to Add field, scroll down to Computer then select Media Center PC.
5. Under the manufacturer field, select Seagate.
6. Type FreeAgent Theater in the Model field, then finish the update.
7. After updating the remote, click on the device settings and select Rename This Device from the Options page, then click Next.
8. Enter FreeAgent Theater into the field on the Rename page and click Save.

The remote control code 34350 is unique to the FreeAgent Theater. It is not found in any universal remote control databases. If you have a universal remote control manufactured by somebody other than Logitech, you will have to manually enter and map each button from the FreeAgent remote to that of your universal remote by entering Learn mode. For more information on programming learn functions into your universal remote, check the documentation the came with the remote, or check the remote control manufacturer’s web site for product manuals.

If you do not see any flashing light after replacing the battery, or if the remote fails to power up the FreeAgent Theater AV dock, the remote control itself is defective and should be replaced.
